A museum like no other, Historium offers an immersive taste of life in 15th-century Bruges, when the small city in modern-day Belgium was Europe's biggest commercial center. A one-hour audio tour ushers visitors through reconstructions of a medieval guildhall filled with live actors, the studio of Old Master painter Jan Van Eyck (where you'll catch a whiff of oil paints and turpentine) and a city square during a re-created snowfall. In other words, something for all the senses.
