You can shortcut from spot to spot on Dravuni simply by taking one of the trails that lead inland. They crisscross the mountain (more hill than mountain), and there is no way to get lost, because sooner or later, you’ll hit a beach again. (Just keep the water on the same side as you walk.) The Fijian jungle is thick and humid and dense, with flowers the size of Frisbees. Get to the top of the hill to count the ridiculous shades of blue the ocean paints itself around this little island.
