Tahoe's incredible East Shore
Tahoe's East Shore is famed for a reason: white sand, clear water, and great afternoon sun. I took this shot at the easily accessible Hidden Beach, just east of Incline Village on Highway 28. Park wherever you can on the main road, then walk along the small path parallel the roadside to numerous beach/cove access points. Can be crowded here, so the best time to enjoy this spot is early summer and fall when most tourists are gone but the temps are warm enough for beaching. I love packing a lunch and spending most of the day here.
