Gain insight into how people used to live in rural Norway at this unique collection of well-preserved 19th-century farm buildings just a mile from the village. Explore the small farmhouse, the barn, hay barns and outbuildings. More than seven hundred farm items are displayed at the museum, from matchboxes to cooking equipment and farming tools. There are no modern gadgets at this museum, simply the evidence of a way of life long gone. Three elderly siblings donated the farm to the local municipality in 1992.
