Swoop Over the Salish Sea On a Helijet Tour
The first time I took a trip on Helijet I can remember whooping with excitement as we slowly hovered about ground and then –swoop! Off we went. It’s a thrilling way to travel over this most picturesque city and to get a birds' eye view of the beautiful islands which lie beyond the city. If you’re short on time, it’s also a fantastic way to get to Vancouver Island and it's not as expensive as you imagine. If you keep an eye on their prices, you can usually score a pretty good deal. New from May 2016, Helijet is launching a Salish Sea sightseeing trip which whisks you over Burrard Inlet, Stanley Park and the Lions Gate Bridge across the Salish Sea to Vancouver Island. If you’re lucky you’ll spot orcas and porpoises along the way. You’ll land in Nanaimo and have chance to stretch your legs before hopping back in for the return flight.
