I woke up early for a run through the Portland streets. I had heard of a great coffee shop that would rival (or even obliterate) Stumptown. There was morning mist making it damp, as we've all come to expect of the Pacific Northwest. I crossed over Lloyd blvd to get into the SE quadrant of the city. I made good time to stay warm in the chilly dew. I turn the corner and reach for the door... Closed. It doesn't open until 7am, along with everything else in this weird city as I find out. I stuck close jogging through the nearby houses and passing porch swings and beautiful blooming bushes. The coffee was worth the wait and I enjoyed it with a slow pace back.
