Best Lunch with a View: Chef Eddie Mizuno's Buffet
Sometimes the very weight of the expenditures each day on a vacation can cloud the enjoyment of the locale. So from time to time, I will share little gems to make your trip better.
Lunch buffet at the Hawaii Prince Hotel in Waikiki is impressive. Chef Eddie Mizuno, a local boy with worldwide experience returns to the Prince to offer international favorites like Japanese shabu-shabu and hand-rolled-to-order sushi along with island favorites like mac salad and mahi-mahi. And do not miss the Macadamia Chocolate pie if available from the beautiful ( and tasty) dessert table offerings made in-house. What is rather unique here is that you will be in the company of visitors and locals alike; all are guaranteed to find many items to enjoy while gazing out to the marina fronting the hotel.
This one is a winner as you can also find easy parking or use the valet. Better yet enjoy a stay at this well located hotel on the Ala Moana end of Waikiki. Boasting all water views and fresh decor—you can't go wrong here.
