These guys were all over me when they realized that I wanted to photograph them diving off the sea wall. I was able to creep up on a narrow ledge beneath the sea wall and position myself right under the divers, all the time remaining vigilant for incoming waves which might at any time soak me and my camera equipment.
Shot with a 16 mm lens, this image exaggerates the size of the bystanders due to the distortion created by the wide angle – this I love. The gravy is the guy standing in the center with the red cross on his shirt.
The whole experience did not go by without a heavy hit to my wallet!
