Laundry India style
On a Rotary trip to the Merwat district in Udder Pradesh India to assist the local people with Polio immunizations we came across this group of women doing their laundry. We yelled “stop the bus” and grabbed our cameras. The women were absolutely delightful. With sign language as our only means of communication, they understood and immediately agreed to let us photograph them. The women seem quite amused watching a crazy bunch of white women charge toward them cameras at the ready.
