Arch Rock is Awesome

Harris Beach State Park has year round camping (60 tent sites and 6 yurts) on the Oregon coast and can be hard to beat when it comes to dramatic and iconic views. Pictured here is the famed Arch Rock and it’s a great place to start and finish stretches of the Coastal Hiking Trail. From beach combing to birding, whale spotting and tide pooling, this state park can be a fascinating place to explore any time of year. The park was named after the Scottish pioneer George Harris that settled here in the 1880’s to raise livestock.
