Beervana
Every time I visit Hallertau I go for the easy option: the beer tasting paddle of beers they brew on site. Like our islands, they name their beers simply (#1, #2, #3.... etc) but they taste anything but plain. With a restaurant and shop to boot, the good news is that you can take home your own Hallertau t-shirts, coasters or mixed beers. Don't drink and drive though.
