Half Shell Raw Bar
Set in the heart of the Historic Seaport at the Key West Bight, the Half Shell Raw Bar is housed in an old shrimp packing building. By continuing to celebrate the area's heritage, the eatery is most known for its ceviche made with bohemian queen conch. Most come for the oysters, which are served by the plenty in these parts of The Keys. The conch ceviche is the most famous dish at Half Shell is due to the careful preparation of the dish. It's something that seems to be incredibly well-mastered in Key West. The patio has a nice view of the boats and birds in the Harborwalk marina. Other menu highlights include Edith's Cracked Conch dinner, oysters and claims with garlic and specialty cocktails. There is also a fish market operated by the raw bar that provides fresh local seafood to nearby restaurants and the community through relationships with local fisherman.
