It’s no secret that Alessandro Michele has positioned Gucci as a global style giant. The creative director has added home furnishings to the famous fashion brand and now, with the opening of Gucci Gardens in Florence, has turned his attention to fine food. In a corner of the Piazza Signoria, in the Gucci Museum space inside the Palazzo della Mercanzia, the new Gucci Gardens is a combination restaurant (Gucci Osteria), retrospective space, and boutique. The result brings together the vibrant color and energy that infuses the entire collection. With limited edition products available and a menu curated by Massimo Bottura, Gucci Gardens has become an exciting part of Florence’s already fabulous fashion scene.
