Avenue Mohamed VI
In the Footsteps of Heros The Cave of Hercules in Tangiers, Morocco is said to have been the famed hero's place of rest during his training. Lining its narrow entrance are a host of vendors with cheap souvenirs that pale in comparison to the main attraction. The cave's curious opening resembles a backwards map of Africa, and looks out on Tangier's majestic coast, making it an excellent place to stay and contemplate heroics. The cave's abismal of caverns are free range for adventurous climbers, and its dramatic lighting and rock surface transports you back to a time of monsters and Gods.
