St. Lucia Gros Piton climb
St. Lucia's Piton Mountains are an important part of St. Lucia's history. The are also an iconic symbols of the island and are magnificent to look at. Not only do they provide some beautiful scenery to the island, but they also provide a heart-pumping adventure. Gros Piton - the larger of the two pyramid-shaped, volcanic mountains, is the only of the two available to hike. St. Lucia only allows visitors to hike Gros Piton, as Petit Piton is mush steeper. This heart-pumping adventure is lead by official guides that must accompany guests as they ascend the almost 2,700 feet. As you climb, incredible vistas appear - from the sparkling blue Atlantic Ocean, to the lush green forest vegetation you hike through, to finally seeing all of St. Lucia from the top (shown above). Book with Janus at Real St. Lucia Tours. He'll take can of all the arrangements for this incredible experience.
