The West End is the largest neighbourhood in
Vancouver's downtown core, and has a broad demographic. Greenhorn Espresso Bar opened up smack in the middle of the West End, in between heritage apartment buildings, corner grocery stores, and a few small shops. This little café has become a mecca for locals, and few tourists end up here. The espresso, coffee and bar drinks are equally delicious (Vancouver's locally roasted Moja beans) but I suggest you come hungry - the food is worth it.
The Short Rib French Dip sandwich and Spanish Tortilla are hits, and the pastries are perfect. Don't leave without sampling something from the menu.
