Greedy Guts, a cozy café housed in an alcove just off the sidewalk in downtown Auckland, features three two-top tables, a square foot of counter, and a compact kitchen. “I ordered salmon, avocado, and pea sprouts on wafer-thin toast, a bacon and cheese sandwich,” he continues, “and the Bondi Bircher—a bowl of muesli soaked in apple juice,” Brown says.
