Reel in the catch of your life on the Great Astrolabe Reef
Blue marlin, yellowfin tuna, wahoo and Pacific sailfish all breed or congregate off of the 75 mile-long, pristine Great Astrolabe Reef. Otherwise, head to the mangroves for giant trevally, Spanish mackerel, coral trou and more. Everything is within few minutes to an hour bat ride from the array of lodges on quiet, jungle-clad Kadavu and Ono Islands. Whatever your preferred method of fishing or even if you've never fished in your life, the outfitters here can set you up. The best part? Few people have even heard of it so the only crowds are of sea critters in the water.
