The problem with Irish bars in Dublin is that, in the downtown areas, they look exactly like the faux Irish bars found all over the world. Enter Gravediggers in Glasnevin to solve this problem. True to its name, the bar is just steps from a burial ground. It's the bar where the cemetery employees and mourners often drink side by side—OK, that makes it sound more morbid than it is. However this is a piece of Irish culture lends itself to tradition and typically deep cultural exchange. And, above all Gravediggers is a serious drinking establishment.
