Gratitude Eatery
Open since 2012 in central Munich, this simple restaurant serves excellent, often creative vegan dishes. While it can get crowded, the freshly made dishes are worth the wait for a table, especially the cauliflower tempura, mushroom risotto, chili sin carne (made with tempeh), and loaded nachos. There are also usually a few raw options on offer, plus delicious homemade juices, some biodynamic wines, and other select drinks. In summer, the staff throws open the doors and sets tables on the sidewalk for optimal people-watching.
