Grasslands National Park, Saskatchewan
The endless prairies of Grasslands National Park
I've come to Grasslands many times and each time I discover something new. I can lose myself in the gorgeous skies, rolling hills, and sense of peace that comes from a place so untouched by civilization. Grasslands is one of Canada's dark sky preserves so at night you can see the stars and the Milky Way as you have never seen them before. If you come to grasslands I highly recommend staying the night, either camping or staying at one of the nearby B&Bs. The old convent nearby is an especially interesting building with a great breakfast. There are countless hiking trails to explore and interesting wildlife to find. Grasslands National Park is truly one of the treasures of Saskatchewan.
