Havana’s Grand Theater earned its name with its immense size and opulent interiors. It is now fresh off a two-year, inside-out renovation that restored it to its early 20th-century neobaroque beauty. Try to catch a performance of the National Ballet of Cuba (the theater is the company's permanent home), whose dancers are world-renowned. If your schedule doesn’t square with curtain time, you can take a guided tour of the building instead; several tours are offered daily. Art exhibits can often be found on the ground floor as well.
