Take a stroll around the 430 acres of Gothenburg’s Botanical Gardens, home to an authentic Japanese garden and over 16,000 plant species. Step inside the greenhouses to see a few thousand more, including many exotic varieties. Open 9 a.m.–9 p.m. year round, the gardens are one of the best free attractions in the city and you can easily spend a few peaceful hours here.
