Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure
This seems to be everyone’s favorite park to walk and meet up in for good reason. It’s filled with a huge ice-skating rink in the winter and bicycles and flowers all summer. There are little stands to get coffee or tea, people selling roasted corn and hazelnuts, and a few to-go places offering Japanese food, sub sandwiches, and ice cream. You can also take a seat inside some of the tiny cafés. I’d suggest though, that you simply wander through the park and taking a break from the hecticness of Moscow, and if you can, go right before sunset and watch the colors over the river. It is beautiful.
