It's called Goosefoot. It's up in Lincoln Square. It's far away from the 'food scene' of downtown Chicago. It's run by a lovely couple. He cooks, and she runs the place and makes you feel like you are at home. It's spectacular. Chef Chris Nugent makes crazy fare like the one pictured above. And yes, that is a hollowed out hard boiled egg that is holding some superbly prepared shrimp and such. Oh, lest I forget to mention that it beat out every single restaurant in Chicago in 2012 for 'Restaurant of the Year.' And last but not least, it's the most down-to-earth, least pretentious, BYOB friendly, 'oh-my-god-I-can't-believe-this-food' food place that you will ever eat. Goosefoot!
