If you enjoy the thrill of thrifting — and you're ready to level up — put on some disposable gloves and head to the Goodwill Outlet, aka "the bins." (Seriously, people do bring latex gloves.) The inventory is all the stuff that didn't sell on the regular Goodwill stores' shelves, dumped into giant plastic bins that are vaguely organized by department. Everything sells by the pound, so you can really score a bargain here, like the nearly-new cashmere sweater I once took home for 99 cents. Or someone's very special collection of macrame how-to books, pictured here (but not purchased by me).
