Head South of Seattle for Bargains
There's a lot of competition at Seattle
thrift stores, and the most central shops are usually pretty picked over. But if you head just a bit out of the city center, you'll find stores that are bigger, cleaner, and have a better selection. The Southcenter Goodwill is a gold mine for cute dresses, vintage cookbooks, and black velvet art, and they have the same half-off colored-tag specials and sales as Seattle's other Goodwill stores. Clean and well-maintained, this is one of their best locations in town, and a must-do if you're thrifting in Seattle with a car.
