Goliad Paddling Trail
108 Park Road 6
Make HistoryTake an historic float down the San Antonio River, near Goliad. Encompassing the site of the ancient Mission Espiritu Santo, this is the first water trail in Texas to include a state park. Full of both riffles and tranquil expanses, it takes kayakers on a 6.6-mile jaunt, loaded with jaw dropping vistas. Sunfish, bass, and catfish await fishing aficionados. Twice a year, Goliad State Park sponsors a crowd pleasing canoe flotilla, wherein a veritable boatload of craft take to the water in unison.
