Discover the surprising versatility of oils and vinegars
Oil isn't just that bottle that comes right out of the supermarket and into your pans, they can be a rich source of flavor. Just ask Theo Stephan, owner of Global Gardens. Though the area is more known for its wineries, the small shop by the roadside offers an amazing variety of organic oils with hints of walnut, lemon or pink peppercorn. Their vinegars also aren't to be dismissed. Look out for blood orange, apricot and even mango flavors.
