Trash to Treasure
It looks like a typical beach along the rugged Northern Californian coastline from far. Once you get closer, you'll find smooth, different colored pieces of glass mixed in with the sand and rocks.
Local residents used to throw their trash over the cliffs and this is the result. Sad but pretty at the same time.
It wasn't the easiest place to find as there are no signs posted and we run into other "lost" people in search of the beach. But looking for it was part of the fun.
You can park by the Beachcomber Motel, cross the picturesque Pudding Creek Trestle and walk towards the ocean.
I wonder how long it will take till it's all gone, but judging by people's full pockets - not too long....
