Stromboli’s second settlement is Ginostra, a tiny village (with a population of around 40 residents) that clings to the rugged, rocky shoreline and is surrounded by olive and lemon groves. The Stream of Fire lava flow separates it from Stromboli Town, and no pathways connect the two villages by land—so the only way to see Ginostra is by boat.
