Norway is known for its quaint coastal villages, but even here, Geiranger is a standout. As your ship approaches this tiny village at the head of the fjord, you’ll see a cluster of red and white wooden buildings framed by emerald green grass and trees, with a backdrop of towering mountains. In summer, Geiranger is a popular jumping-off point for excursions. But despite the tourists and souvenir shops, it still retains its simplicity and small-town flavor.
