In Gaziantep, Turkey
Two of my good friends and I were able to wander around the city of Gaziantep for a while one afternoon. We were mesmerized by the bazaars and all of the hand crafted offerings, tea being offered at every corner and the scents of unknown spices and edibles wafting from the spaces that lined the streets. A man carrying a tray of Simit (hardened pretzel-like bread) on his head caught our eye and we had to try some. Its truly a place for the senses - winding alley ways and markets around every corner.
