This popular hike starts at the Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Garden and is a great way to explore the island’s ecosystem. The two-kilometer (1.2-mile) loop is a moderately difficult hike with a gentle incline on the way out and all downhill on the way back. As you climb, you’ll be able to see amazing views of both sides of the island. You need a permit to set off on the trail, but you can easily obtain one at the botanic garden.
