This shop bills itself as the world’s largest gambling bookstore, and there is no reason to dispute the claim—the place is as much a museum as it is a place of business. Shelves here are stocked with more than 3,000 different titles about gambling—books that cover everything from poker strategy, sports betting, and card counting to slot-machine management and Las Vegas history. It also has an extensive section of gambling memorabilia, too, including outdated chips, old dice, and used card decks from casinos of yesteryear. John and Edna Luckman (yes, that’s really their last name) founded the shop back in 1964 and still run it today.
