My 18th day on the road for work in Europe, on the tail end of a head cold, following 3 days of conferences, investor pitches, and meetings, I left a networking event at a Dublin pub early to catch up on sleep. I had not sat down to eat in probably 3 days. Walking back to my hotel freezing in the rain, I walked passed Gallaher & Co. It was like a magnetic pull that drew me inside. I was taken such good care of by the very dapper waitstaff, and had a plate of spiritual fish and chips that one can only have when you're in Ireland. That, and two very generously poured glasses of Côtes du Rhone. Thank you Gallaher for bringing me back to life!
