Capturing a quiet elegance, the Four Seasons Hotel Houston offers a refreshing change of pace from the outside world. Located in the city’s bustling business district, it’s a welcome respite oozing southern charm and character. Instantly, guests are enveloped in decadence: a handsome lobby calms travelers’ frayed nerves, while at-your-service staff make check-in a breeze.
Traveling with my significant other, my experience was unforgettable in more ways than one. My luxurious two-bedroom apartment felt immediately like home with its warm ambiance, classic decor and sleek wood furnishings. The inviting kitchen lured me in first; I couldn’t help but be drawn to the immaculate setup, so like my kitchen at home.
The modestly styled rooms exuded comfort from every angle, offering sumptuous bedding that kept us warm on a blustery, rainy weekend. The well-appointed apartment was masterfully laid out, with a door separating the hallway between the two bedrooms to allow guests ample privacy. The half marble bathroom felt just as lavish as the larger master bath, and both were generously stocked with decadent L’Occitane bath and body luxuries, whose brisk lemon verbena fragrance offered a refreshing start to my day.
At Quattro Italian restaurant, we experienced flawless service during lunch and dinner courtesy of Adrian, who tended the bar and patiently waited as we pored over the menu. My Insalata Invernale was a delight, with crisp, buttery greens supporting an array of fresh vegetables and a dash of creamy honey mustard dressing. His burger, meanwhile, was fresh and juicy (and looked incredible to this most discerning vegetarian). Tip: The crisp French fries are not to be missed, nor is the mouth-watering bananas foster served during Sunday brunch.
