This is one of the shops that always make my foodie tours (and where I also go when I need a snack). Katherine, the owner, serves those little cheese tastings that I love. For only three euro you get one goat, one sheep, and one cow cheese (served on crackers)—plus a glass of wine, a couple of slices of green apple, and quince paste to clean your palate between each cheese piece. I also come here when I'm planning a gourmet meal for guests at home. Katherine won't sell anything that she hasn't tried, she makes a point to visit the producer's place — and if she doesn't like the producer, she won't sell the product! Apart from her hand-picked cheese, she also has cheese ice cream. The blue cheese ice cream goes great with my pumpkin soup in the winter!
