If you’ve ever seen a mouthwatering meal on a movie and wished you could pull up a chair and dig in to the screen, now you can do just that—well, in a manner of speaking. The four-day NYC Food Film Festival offers a fully-immersive experience, kicking off on Oct. 22 with Tender: Stories of Love and Meat, comprising multiple film screenings, talks from legendary pitmasters and, of course, plenty of BBQ to keep your hunger at bay (not to mention, sliders, tacos, booze, and more). In its ninth year, this tasty event takes place in and around Times Square and highlights more than 30 culinary-centric movies, in addition to meals, drinks, VIP parties and a whole lot of fun.
