Small-batch microbreweries have become commonplace, and nearly every city has its own craft beer. But how many have their own micro-root-brewery? Fitz's has been making craft sodas since 1947, and while the restaurant and bottle works space is more modern, the refurbished bottling line dates from the same era. Come for lunch or a float, or just to watch the bottling line in action—it turns out up to 10,000 bottles a day at a rate of about one per second. And if you're not a fan of root beer, they also have cream soda, orange, and black cherry on tap, and even more flavors by the bottle.
