Fishing boats, pleasure craft, colorful houseboats and floating businesses are moored side by side along Victoria's Fisherman's Wharf, just a short walk from the Inner Harbour. Grab a lunch at one of the wharf's seafood shacks and eat on the docks, watching the water traffic and laughing at the antics of the harbor seals. An adjacent park and playground are fun to visit with kids.
Victoria's Inner Harbour is a famous Canadian landmark, while nearby Fisherman's Wharf is an excellent place to discover with the family—and not worry about being gaffed (washed out to sea).
The wharf is home to a number of food vendors, shopping outlets, tour operators outfitting passengers on harbour and other eco-adventures, and more. Not to mention the postcard-perfect photo potential presented by all the high-masted ships.
