The classy Le Méridien Chiang Mai is home to one of the city's most rarefied Italian dining experiences. Yet, although there’s no lack of refinement about the venue, Favola manages to pull off the tricky feat of being both elevated and accessible. Rustic trattoria favorites appear alongside creative gastronomy on the menu with oven-baked pizzas and homemade pastas supplying the comfort food quotient and signature original creations providing the pizzazz. The venue is also notable for its glass-enclosed wine cellar, which showcases over 1000 bottles as well as Chiang Mai’s most extensive selection of grappa. Given its oenophile credentials, it’s not surprising that Favola is an excellent place for a free-flowing Sunday brunch.
