Farmer's Market Little Italy

Breakfast at the Farmer's Market
Little Italy, close to Bayfront/ SpringHill Suites [http://www.afar.com/places/springhill-suites-san-diego-downtown-slash-bayfront-san-diego] where I stayed, has become one of my new favorite San Diego 'hood' on this trip. It has tons of great restaurants and bars, and best of all, a HUGE Farmer's Market every Saturday from 8-2pm–come rain or shine–located on Cedar Street between Kettner Blvd and Front Street.

You can people watch while grabbing breakfast, brunch or lunch. They have many food options there, from Korean BBQ, to Crépes (sweet and savory), baked goods, sausages; really something for everybody. The atmosphere is relaxed, everybody just bumbles along: families with toddlers, couples, hungover individuals with dark sunglasses. Even dogs are allowed to accompany their owners on this perfect weekend outing.

>>>A big thank you to Marriott’s recently opened SpringHill Suites San Diego Downtown/Bayfront (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/sandh-springhill-suites-san-diego-downtown-bayfront) for accommodations.
