Fairmont Hamilton Princess
The Hamilton Princess Bermuda, known for generations as the Pink Princess, opened its doors in 1885 and today—under management by the Fairmont group since 2001—remains one of the largest and most celebrated hotels in Bermuda. Soon after completing a years-long $100 million renovation in 2016 that included new restaurants, pool facilities, room makeovers, a new luxury marina, and a shopping gallery, the property was the official hotel sponsor for the prestigious America’s Cup sailboat race. The rooms and suites are what you’d expect from a newly enhanced Fairmont property—clean, modern, comfortably luxurious. But if there’s one thing that sets this property apart, it’s the collection of modern art that’s been acquired and exhibited for guests to enjoy: Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Banksy, Damien Hirst, Robert Rauschenberg, and Ai Weiwei are just some of the better known luminaries who grace the hotel; guests can sign up for a free guided tour of the collection. While the infinity pool has gorgeous views over the harbor, guests also have exclusive use of the private Beach Club on Sinky Bay, a 20-minute ride via complimentary shuttle service from the hotel.
