Ningaloo Reef, Exmouth - Australia
Ningaloo Reef has a stronger current than other popular snorkelling spots which means not too many people venture out there, I found the more secluded Turquoise Bay was the quietest and, as a result, better location.
Arriving in late March, I was lucky enough to swim with the world’s largest fish, the whale shark. Swimming with these creatures is a once in a life time experience and with a backdrop including 300 different varieties of coral, a memorable snorkelling destination.
