Marrakech is a full-on assault of the senses, whether you love it or not.
Staying in the fishing village of Essaouira for a week was the soothing anecdote.
Although it is sadly becoming more touristy, it is still a beautiful place to hang out. With the feel of a greek island, there are groovy vegetarian cafes playing local chill out music, salty ocean air, quirky coffee shops and great food. Lots of windy alleys, stray cats and plenty of local flavor, it will give you a whole different perspective on the Morocco experience.
