There are not many late night dance clubs in Aspen. Regal and my preference, Escobar are really the only two. Named after the infamous drug lord, Escobar is uniquely designed. It used to be Fly Lounge and those owners spent a pretty penny transforming this club to look like the interior of an airplane. It is a little confusing because you think that there should be a connection but either way it is a fun place to dance. I think most people would agree that the music makes the dance club and most Saturday night DJ Naka G is spinning. He is great! Famous among the locals, he has spun for the snowboarders during both the X Games and the Olympics. He is up on what is trending in the music industry and he knows what people like, which makes all the difference. Another fun attribute of Escobar is the stripper pole in the back. Deep down every girl wants test out their skills on a stripper pole and there is no better way than when you are liquored up.
