Usually there are two types of travellers - those who love camping, and those who prefer a nice cosy bed in nice cosy hotel. I used to be the latter. But when it came to planning a trip through Scotland's countryside I could not resist opting for a classic '65 VW campervan. This way you bring your own "Rock 'n' Roll bed" (i. e. the back seat) wherever you go (and camping is allowed EVERYWHERE in Scotland, even at the side of the road).
Our model "Zebedee" sparked attention anywhere we went and although at first a bit of a challenge to drive, we adapted quickly.
After ten days, we didn't want to let go of our van. This is the best way to explore Scotland in style.
