Stand Up Paddleboard at Ensenada Grande
After a thrilling day of diving and snorkeling with sea lions at Los Islotes, our dive boat with Fun Baja headed over to Ensenada Grande, a remote and uninhabited beach located on the Sea of Cortez in Baja California, Sur. The water is bluer than a Tiffany's box, and so crystal clear that you can see the sand rippling below as you slowly make your way to shore. Awaiting our arrival was the smiling staff of Fun Baja and freshly prepared fish tacos, with homemade corn and flour tortillas, guacamole and a squeeze of lime. It's one of those moments when you look around and don't know what else to do but pinch yourself. I grabbed a stand up paddle board after lunch to explore the calm waters of the cove, and came across stunning overhanging rock formations, before heading back to shore and hopping on the boat for a sunset ride back to La Paz.
