Ensenada is wine country, and one of the most enjoyable ways to experience this part of the Baja California Peninsula is to while away a day visiting the region's vineyards and wineries. Mexican wine isn't well known yet outside of the country; low production levels mean that most wines are destined for domestic consumption. Oenophiles will want to familiarize themselves with the region's varietals by taking a winery tour.
